Our Services

Crisis Intervention

Come to our office for in-person help from trained advocates Monday-Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. No appointment needed. Or call our 24-Hour Support Line 603-668-2299.

We can provide emotional support and detailed information about community services and connect survivors and their children to other helpful resources.

Court Support

Our advocates guide survivors through the legal process, helping with protective orders, safety planning, and court preparation. While we don’t give legal advice, survivors may qualify for free legal help for protective order hearings. We can also provide support for cases like divorce, child custody and criminal or sexual assault trials.

Hospital & Police Support

If you’ve experienced an assault, our advocates can meet you at the hospital, police station, or court to provide emotional and practical support. We ensure your rights are respected and help you navigate medical, legal, and emotional challenges.

  • Hospital Support: available 24/7 at local hospitals like Elliot, CMC, and Parkland Medical Center.

  • Police Support: advocates assist during police interviews and filing reports, offering emotional support and acting as a bridge between survivors and law enforcement.

Support Groups

We host safe spaces where survivors can share their experiences, find strength in others, and heal together. We also can suggest connections to services in the community to help children exposed to domestic violence heal from that trauma.

Rapid Rehousing Program

This Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program helps survivors and their families find stable, affordable housing if they are homeless or at risk of that due to domestic violence. We partner with local landlords and offer short-term financial help for rent (up to two years) while connecting survivors to financial literacy and other services to promote self-sufficiency.

Child Advocacy

We support children and teens and their non-offending caregivers impacted by domestic or sexual violence. We promote children’s safety and can provide support when families are involved with other agencies including DCYF, law enforcement, courts, and schools.

Education & Outreach

We offer free programs to schools, businesses, and community groups about topics like healthy relationships, boundaries, and consent. We also provide training on how to support survivors of violence, stalking and trafficking.

REACH advocates are experienced and knowledgeable about these topics. Our goal is to strengthen relationships in the community, opening the door to a local resource for students, staff, and parents.

Emily’s Place Shelter

Our confidential shelter (at a non-disclosed location) is for those actively fleeing domestic violence, stalking, or trafficking. Advocates provide guidance and resources to help survivors rebuild lives.

“I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the advocate for being there for me in court.”
