Volunteer
REACH depends on the hard work and dedication of volunteers. Volunteers help in many ways, such as staffing the 24-hour support line, providing court and hospital support, assisting at the Manchester office, visiting schools, and participating in community outreach.
Volunteer Opportunities
Direct Service: help lead support groups and answer calls on the 24-hour support line. Offer emotional support or resources to clients at court hearings. Assist clients with restraining orders related to domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking.
Outreach: help at community events. Share information about REACH's services with potential clients, volunteers, and supporters.
Internships: student interns can focus on community outreach, crisis intervention, advocacy, or work on a special project that matches their school’s requirements and the needs of the organization.
If you want to volunteer, intern, or have questions, please complete the volunteer application below.
Request a Presentation
We offer free programs to schools, businesses, and community groups about topics like healthy relationships, boundaries, and consent. We also provide training on how to support survivors of violence, stalking, and trafficking.
REACH advocates are experienced and knowledgeable about these topics. Our goal is to strengthen relationships in the community, opening the door to a local resource for students, staff, and parents.
We’d be happy to give a presentation to your group. Please email us and we’ll be in touch. We do request at least two weeks advance notice before the date of your presentation.
If you are interested in a presentation, please complete the request form below and we’ll be in touch. We request at least two weeks advance notice before your presentation date.
“The world would be much kinder if there were more special people like REACH advocates in it.”
